Has a consistent 160 mesh / 91 micron / 180 grit surface that assures precision results during the flattening. Monocrystalline diamonds are electroplated on the groovy side. Stainless steel Diamond Breaker included to remove possible high diamond particles and prevent deep scratches on your whetstones (one time 2 minutes use with the new plate)
- USAGE: Watch our tutorial before use. Only for whetstones, not for tools sharpening. Maxi-smart can lap 400-10k grit artificial or Japanese whetstones 500 times (tested with ±0.6″ / 1.6mm flatness 400 grit stone). Use straight movements and even pressure. Also can flatten natural stones 100 times (tested on ±0.016″ / 0.4mm flatness Arkansas Black). The plate on a countertop, straight movements, bigger pressure and plenty of water. Use an abrasive stick to clean the plate`s surface, if clogged
