Material and ConstructionADC's Medicut are the world's best-selling brand of medical grade utility shears. Made with razor-sharp, super-hardened surgical-grade stainless steel and a polypropylene handle, they come in two sizes: full-size Medicut (320), which measures 7 ¼”, and MiniMedicut (321), which measures 5 ½”. Measurements are taken from the base of the handles to the tip of the blades. Blades are tempered to a Rockwell hardness of C56 for unsurpassed durability and secured with an extra-large rivet with a rated strength of 88 kg. Medicut shears have a stainless-steel safety bandage tip, while MiniMedicut shears feature a polypropylene safety bandage tip that’s color-coordinated to the handle. If you receive a MiniMedicut instrument that’s missing the safety tip, it’s not a genuine ADC product. | BrandingAuthentic ADC Medicut and MiniMedicut shears have embossed markings on both sides of the instrument, on the handles. One side says ADC and the model number (i.e., 320 or 321) along with a CE marking (which indicates our product complies with the relevant requirements of European regulations). The other side is marked with the a autoclavable and stainless steel content information.
